Auntie's House

So, I haven't posted anything in forever, but here are a couple of pictures of Hollis and Lily.  Lily and I drove out to visit Auntie Kelly and her family, and Lily and Hollis had so much fun playing together.  They had their moments, especially when it came to who was going to open the door, close the door, or push the button on anything, but they really are good friends!

Lily with her new doggy, a birthday present from Yaya. Note that she is not looking at the camera, because Yo Gabba Gabba was playing on the DVD player in the car. So spoiled.

Lily is 3!

Lily's 3rd Birthday was a 2-day event. First there was her actual birthday on the 21st. Friday was filled with treats and presents and lots of family fun time, including swimming with Daddy. Then on Saturday we had the party at the Hoppin' Hippo.

Lily had been looking forward to this for more than a month. All you can jump and play, with all of her friends.

Lily and Rylan had a blast and were inseparable for most of the party. We had fun jungle cupcakes that Mommy made. Daddy gave expert advice on candle-extinguishing techniques...from a military perspective, of course. It was a great day!

Last Day of First Year of Preschool

I can't believe how big she is getting. Lily just finished her first year of preschool, and she has grown so much! We have almost mastered potty training, and she is very skilled at her favorite song-the ABC song. She is just so big! They had a very fun last day of school, complete with beach day activities like digging for seashells, popsicles, playing with parachutes, and bubbles!

A Belated Easter Entry...

After General Conference, Lily, Teagan, and Rylan had an Easter egg hunt in the backyard. They found lots of treats!

So, Easter festivities have begun. We are having a crazy Saturday, which is good, because we are anxiously awaiting Mike's return. He gets home tonight after midnight, and will be home a whole week!!! YAY!!!

Our community had it's big Easter deal today, so Lily got to meet the Easter Bunny and hunt for some eggs. There was also a little petting zoo, and Lil held a baby chick! Lily had lots of friends there to play with here. There were a ridiculous amount of people there. But we had lots of fun.

Spring has Sprung...

Okay, so the picture is a couple of weeks old, but Lily was very excited about all of the popcorn on our tree. Two days ago, we pulled up in the driveway and she cried out and asked, "where did the popcorn go?" It was fun while it lasted!
