Pumpkin has been our sweet kitty for the last 7 years, and sadly he was hit by a car yesterday. We are grieving for the loss of his presence in our lives. We aren't sure how he got out of the house, but he has never gotten out like this in the seven years we've had him. Tragically, while we were out searching for him, I actually hit him with the car. We aren't exactly sure how that happened either, but we believe it was an unavoidable accident. In the photo, he is the kitty to the left, and Weasels is on the right. Weasels seems to keep searching the house for his friend, and my heart is a little broken right now. Luckily Mike was there and took care of Pumpkin the best he could and has been taking care of me, too. We are so lucky to have him home with us again.
